If Benavidez really wants to fight Canelo he should grab a LHW title

time for these hating weirdos to juelz up some other shyt :mjlol:

"bbbut there's it's a secret weight stipulation put in by illuminati via 5g :damn: "

Meanwhile in real life the only time Canelo fought w a weight stip was against Floyd.

Breh the shyts crazy. Abd I don't get the Benavidez shyt tbh. He's a very good fighter, but I ain't never seen so much pressure on a PROVEN fighter who just unified a division for the first time in history to fight a MF w no resume that lost his belt on the scales (essentially taking himself out the conversation/opportunity to be in the conversation) :dwillhuh:

Canelo is scared of Benavidez. Dumbest take in boxing :snoop:

Imagine the guy that went 24 rnds w ggg and 12 w Mayweather scared of anyone in boxing :dead: p4p you ain't finding a harder puncher than ggg and skillwise Floyd was literally on another planet than all these dudes but yeah Benevidez got Nelo shaking :russ:

At this point I just hit em w a "you got it" and keep it moving. :mjlol: I mean look at the resumes of the dudes these guys hype up as boogeymen :dead:

Nah, there was a whole phase of Canelo's career with "Caneloweight" a.k.a. 155 pounds instead of 154 when Canelo was struggling to make 154 but didn't want to make the full jump to 160 yet. More people fought at that weight than bridgerweight :mjlol:
It wouldn't even be a big problem but some of these fights were for 160 titles while not fought at the 160 limit (WBC :comeon:) which is frankly just ridiculous.

I like Canelo, consider myself a fan of his but let's call a spade a spade

Ya this is true and was a big reason why I jumped ship on him but ever since fighting triple g he’s erased all that by moving up wieght classes and fighting champions at the official wieght limits.

First off for the Caneloweight argument, fights with Lara had no title on the line because it was above 154, so Lara was still champion. That extra 1 lb helped fighters like Kirkland who was coming off 3 years lay off.

Some of his early 160 (155) fights were requested by others, such as Cotto and Amir Khan. It hurt Canelo more than anything, because Canelo is naturally MUCH larger than them, and he was struggling to make 155 at that time.

Canelo is big now.

To suggest, back then, that he was much naturally larger than Cotto is a copout and you know it.

As far as other shyt in this thread, just stop it. It's not about Canelo being scared, thats a convenient word. But they damn well aren't stupid, they pick and choose the fights that they're more attuned to winning.

Alvarez camp, for the most part, don't want fights with dangerous, bigger 12 rounders. And it doesn't matter, it wouldn't make sense if they took on every opposition, Canelo has extreme shortcomings like all fighters do, the job is to play to the strengths.

We need the 160 to 175 lb guys to fight each other to prove who is really worthy of a shot against Canelo

They are all looking to avoid fighting each other so they don't miss a pay day against Canelo

None of them earned that shot from Charlo to Andrade to Bivol to Benavides to Zurdo, etc...

Lol he was much larger than Cotto. Why do you think Cotto requested the fight at 155? Back when cotto was the lineal champ he had catchweights at 157-159 because him and Roach felt he wasn't big enough for the full 160 limit.

As for Canelo not wanting fights with dangerous, bigger 12 rounders, he just beat Caleb Plant. Caleb Plant was Light-heavy when he was in the amateurs and was huge for 168 lbs. And imo I gave Plant a good chance to decision Canelo and I had him ahead. I still think Plant would destroy Benavidez and Charlo/Andrade if they came up to 168.

One of the fighters I think Canelo is going to avoid straight up is Beterbiev. But who else?

Canelo was already fighting at 155 prior to Cotto
