Funny thing is (anecdotal post ahoy) a lot of asians I talk to have legit given me the when discussing the legitimacy of the whole thing about Asians being the "model minority" thing, especially them first generations.

Studies say American education is fine, breh. It's your parents which mainly determines how smart you are. Some people don't even have to go to formal school to get into Harvard.

Studies done by who? Yea American education is fine if depending on your location and/or if you can afford to get it. Standard public education as a whole is not. We are behind as a nation compared to a lot of 1st world countries. I have seen lacking education with my own eyes.
