I don't think I'm photogenic to be honest...maybe I should just get a bunch of professional pictures done and call it a day
you have no reason to say that- from the pics I've seen. My dogs usually end up in mine though too.

Cause you like the pic you took? Why would people take a pic of anything in that case. Their car, their dog, their sneakers...isn't that showing off? Whether you're showing pics of yourself or things you own or random pics you took "Look at my photography skills" it's all the same. Don't put everyone in the same pot.
