If a Black Athlete threw this same hissy fit as Tom Brady, what would have been said?

this trend of "if [player] were black, he couldn't do [this]" threads is retarded brehs. you're not militant or socially conscious by pointing out stuff we already know - that old white dudes calling shots often have racial dispositions that are unfavorable to non-whites

that being said, in this case i tend to agree with the superstar idea. even in my example, garcon got his first penalty for doing what he does frequently, but in this case the game was chippy and the refs used him to re-assert control over the post-play stuff.

No Black QB would have gotten away with spygate, and falling flat on his face every year since

Brady wasnt behind spygate and im sure most of the league would love to make it to two superbowls and just fall short than not go at all

smh at u lames being mad because Brady has been to 5 superbowls and won 3:obama:

its the same for Peyton Manning and Drew Brees too

Brees was blaming his teammates for his overthrown ints, and he was called a competitor. :deadmanny:

Please find just ONE single link of Manning or Brees throwing a Toddler-like tantrum like Brady in the OP :rudy:

Most Peyton does is make the Manning face and walk to sidelines with a frown. Drew is tough (short mans syndrome) but he never crosses the line into temper-tantrums like Brady does every week....

And people are trying to justify his tantrum throwing instead of just sticking to the original question....what would have been said if a black player reacted just like that? :ohhh:

center makes a reasonable request and Manning goes ballistic. But its cool, its Peyton. We can celebrate it :blessed:

just take it easy LBizzle, it was a point I was making about all the QBs who get away with it :whoa:

I agree, to an extent. It is more of a superstar thing than race, but there are always racial undertones with the coverage and reactions.

So having an animated discussions with your teammate on the sideline (which the full clips shows they made up and were laughing about it just a few minutes later) is comparable to throwing a fit on the field, spiking the ball which should have drawn 15 yard penalty....then storming at the ref still furious which should have drawn another 15 and possible ejection :merchant:

That fact that that's the best on you could find should tel you all you need to know about who's really out of control :ooh:

:what: how is that not a penalty tho

B/c the 9ers called a time out so they could not call delay of game.

Brady spiked the ball after the time out was called. Can't have a delay foul after a time out is granted.

https://twitter.com/MikePereira/status/280528481169842176

Brady spiked the ball cuz he was upset that they didn't get the play off. That is not an unsportsmanlike foul.

But whatever. Tho it is interesting that a Manning stan @O RLY started this thread. I see your agenda :leostare:
