Craig getting 50M minimum for this.

Last one in his contract right?

I just hope everyone involved comes ready to perform. Actors, writers, production. Every Bond has the potential to be a monster, but of the Daniel Craig movies I feel like they've been very hit or miss.

New York Times saying Craig is a done deal to come back. Still, maybe they should have a director and script in place before a release date :dead:

EDIT: Just saw Purvis and Wade are back for the script again. Yeesh, maybe give someone else a crack at this with how hit or miss they've been. They've penned the last 6 joints

TWINE, CR and Skyfall all good the follow ups sloppy DAD, QoS and Spectre. So following the formula the next one should be good.

Of course breh. If it's James Bond or spider man related assume I've seen it more than once lol

New York Times is reporting he's back so that's as good as gold in my book. Never thought he wasn't coming back so to me it was much ado about nothing. Now the issue is finding a studio to distribute because they're announcing release dates with no studio to put it out. I feel like that's a pretty big I that needs to be dotted

Probably signed a one contract deal and after this they'll recast. Another bond fanatic I follow over at birth movies is hearing the broccoli's are thinking of selling the franchise after this one which would be huge.

I can't get with the world is not enough but the other stuff I agree with you on. The major issue with them is this though: months ago they said in the guardian they have no idea how you'd do a bond movie post brexit. They were stumped then weeks later they signed on to do the next one :russ:

I hope they came up with a hell of an idea then

If they come to Warner Brothers, they can probably get Christopher Nolan to direct and him and his brother co-write.

I liked Carlyle baddie, Robbie Coltrane cameo and the Stockholm syndrome twist. :ld:Denise Richards was awful, but she was in it for eye candy purposes anyway. I'd say it closer to the the other 3 than it is to CR and Skyfall in quality terms.

It probably Brosnan's 2nd best, Bond film after Goldeneye as well.

Nolan has already been in talks with them. He said he'd do it if he's needed which to me says he'd want to come on to reinvent it after Daniel leaves

It's definitely his second best. I'll agree with that wholeheartedly. It's his best portrayal of bond but not his best movie

So, you'd think CN will pass if DC has to be cast? I'm sure CN is WB's selling point to the estate that he would direct it.

IMO Nolan will want to start from scratch and Craig has pretty much said this will be his last Bond, I know he has said that before, but I think he is fed up with being Bond and the demands that go with it and he's getting older,(not older than Neeson when he became Bryan Mills). I cannot see Nolan doing just 1 film, he is a storyteller and with a franchise like Bond he can lay down a 2-3 film arc. And he'll will want to work with the same Bond, if he has a longer story to tell.

May get a Harry Palmer cameo :blessed:
