I don't have to read the article, that headline says it all :mjpls:
the way people find ingenious ways to say racist shyt without actually uttering said racist words is just :wow:

and to think a couple of years ago people were complimenting Daniel Craig for making Bond more "Gritty"(exact word used then). :dead:

You know, I'm as militant as the next guy, but I sorta think this probably more of a classist issue than a racial one. He did say Elba wasn't the right black actor to play Bond. And Britain is a notoriously classist society. They track kids for university in primary school and you're sorta stuck in whatever track you end up in. Background is everything there, and I wouldn't be surprised if Horowitz is turning his nose up at Elba because he grew up in Hackney and dropped out of school, despite winning a place in the National Youth Music Theatre. :martin: These people don't care where you end up in life, they stay focused on your background.

I really don't care breh :whoknows: I wish I did. If that's what the writer thinks, that's what he thinks. Idris is too street, Daniel is too thuggish and too ugly and too blonde, Dalton is too serious, Pierce is too soft, etc. There's always something. Now grant it, if I felt more passionate about there needing to be a black guy to play Bond, maybe I'd care more but I just don't. But I also know getting up in arms about what some writer says when he isn't the one making the decisions is moot. Now if Barbara Broccoli or Michael G Wilson come out and say it, then you got a story but it's a guy writing a book that most cats in here will never read.
