@Ritzy Sharon

Fascinating read. The excerpt you posted though doesn't make mention of several Arab Leaders threatening war and violence if the partition went into affect, which seems to predate the events in the excerpt you provided, does it not?

Well that's when we get into further backdrop which was massive Jewish immigration, the European betrayal of the Arabs, and late 19th century Zionist intellectuals openly declaring their intent with the native population

Arabs were never belligerent until they had a reason to

So none of the Jews in Israel are Semitic?
There's Semitic Jews that's been there since the beginning, and lived peaceful and prosper, they make up about half the Israeli population today. But the non-Semitic ones control and run Israeli society. But the problems with the non-Jews and Jews did not start until the Jews from Germany and Russia came, and brought there special European views. :sas2:

So let's break down that video

:17sec Hamas uses human shields because they think it will work. They think Israel will be blamed and they think they would have achieved something having had Israel blamed

1:01 Hamas intends to harm Palestinian civilians. And it intends to harm Israeli civilians. The more civilians they kill, the better for them.

1:22 By placing the blame on Israel they [those against the Israeli bombings] are unwittingly complicit in what Hamas is trying to do. And ultimately what they will do is send the message to Hamas, and terrorist organizations everywhere, that if you use human shields then that strategy will work.

1:45 the address [blame] for civilian casualties is Hamas. Why would you put missiles next to a hospital? Why are you using a children's playground to fire rockets?

2:23 Hamas should be responsible for the use of human shields and for putting missiles and military commands in hospitals. People shouldn't be outraged at Israel for defending itself. They should be outraged at Hamas for using people as human shields.

2:46 Don Lemon states - people are people regardless of *inaudible* so its awful to see. Dermers response: I agree but understand what the consequences would be, if using human shields is an effective strategy, it will be used again and again. And if using human shields is not an effective strategy, it is less likely to be used.

Im wit you on this. The Israeli gov't set up the conditions for an organization like Hamas to gain power. They fukked up. Never should have taken the West Bank..

But yall really are acting like Hamas isnt threat, just because theyve failed to do damage. Since when is it a good idea to take chances with terrorist organizations? A dirty bomb could be right around the corner.

All Im saying is.. the injustices Israeli's have committed in the past does not negate the right to protect their country.

Let's not forget the reason Israel was founded in the first place - Jews have traditionally been one of the most persecuted social groups throughout history. even before the holocaust. The polito-military infrastructure provided by Israel is the single reason that this has changed.

excellent commentary

The Ummah!
Damn brehs excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is the difference between the Gazans, Palestinians, and people living in the West Bank?

The Palestinians are the Arabs who lived in the Holy Land (palestine) before Israel was created. Below you can see a map how the Palestinian Arabs lived throughout what is now Israel, then what happened to them after the UN gave the palestinians land away to create a state of Israel, Palestine was split into two parts, Gaza strip (near egypt) and the West Bank (near Jordan) throughout time their land hold has shrunk thanks to Israeli occupation.

I'm absolutely disgusted and appalled by that interview.

There is literally only one question he has to answer in order to to show how/why he should go on trial as a war criminal, "You claim that Hamas continues to use human shields. You also state 'if using human shields is an effective strategy, it will be used again and again.' What action does Israel plan to take in order to make human shields an ineffective strategy?"

Hamas is simply a symptom of the problem, oppression will always give rise to shyt like this. If it wasn't Hamas it would be Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, if it wasn't them it would be some shyt like ISIS. When people get desperate this is the outcome of that desperation.

I don't see shyt in black and white like that, Hamas has done awful awful things, but so has the Israeli government. The definition of Terrorist could very easily be applied to Israel, but people dare not utter such things or get labeled antisemitic. The whole "they're just defending themselves" is complete bullshyt as far as I'm concerned, you can't do to people what they've done and not expect violent resistance. You can't keep slapping someone in the face then shoot them when they try to swing on you claim self defense, this shyt is appalling.

The injustices committed in the past....My dude the Gaza strip is an open air prison, so because Jews were persecuted in the past it gives them the right to treat others like shyt?
