Yep, he started to play good late this season. He’s still 6’8 with good athleticism; shooting, and ability to get his own shot. He probably won’t be Euro Kobe, but he can still make a AS team or two depending on where he goes.
That kid Zharie Williams is prolly a better version

Is anyone worried if we do move up to get Young that he is like Trey Burke

Trey Burke | NBADraft.net

Burke could never adjust to the NBA. Yes, Young is more talented and actually does have some elite things he do like range, vision, and passing skills, hes about 15 pounds lighter, 1.5 inches taller, 2 inches shorter wingspan than Burke. Both players are very quick and apt to the PnR but at that size, you need to be Dennis or Barea quick. Maybe he might need sometime to develop. I dont think it is a good idea to start him ASAP. Maybe keep Dennis for a year and then flip him when his value is up. Bagley gonna make Dennis look better anyway.

I personally think hes a lot like Dennis as a prospect in the way that he does something elite like vision, range, passing but hes really bad in many areas and hes even that long. Maybe Sexton or SGA is a better choice.

I'm not thinking they are the point guards for our future. I would rather get in that 12-14 range and see what we can do with SGA

Let's say Duncic decides to stay in Europe and Ayton, Bagley goes 1 and 2. Hawks have to take Bamba with the 3rd pick. I think dude will be great.
He will be a defensive star day 1. By year 3 growing into his body he already hits free throws at a good clip he could be better than no D ayton

Yeah, we need to stack up assets to move up to get a PG. That's unquestionable

Why?
Y’all need stars more than anything and this PG class is good but not great. Keep your picks, draft Shai or Bonga with either of your late picks if you must draft a “playmaker”, then go hard to get Romeo; RJ, Reddish, or Nasir next draft.
