1. Prince and Collins are at best solid NBA starters.

2. Y’all have never really drawn FA’s and y’all tanking, so it ain’t like you gon do shyt with that cap space. :heh: :russ:

Secure the bag and having Bamba>>extra cap space with Prince and Collins
I was thinking the same. Get an offensive anchor and get a defensive anchor.

Throw Bazemore in that bytch too.

Conley
Bazemore
Prince
Collins
Gasol

They loaded and ready to lose in a 1st or 2nd round but they gonna fight tho. This shyt better than

Conley
DeRozan
Ennis
JaMychal Green
Gasol

Maybe they can develop Prince and Collins to be all stars with a real PG and not angeldust at point

Clearly you didn't see prince after the all star break. Collins was a top rookie too:beli:

They can be good but let's be real, Neither one of them gonna be great. Prince offense is good and he the best playmaker on the team but his defense is ass. Collins got that Tyson Chandler game. He can't score if you don't create it for him outside of him getting putbacks and easy dunks while attempting 3s which is new. Both of these two got promise but neither of them are cornerstones. I got Collins in the same range with Lauri M but I like Lauri's long potential more due to his offensive versatility. People try to call Prince a 3/D when he really just a Black Hedu Turkglu if he can keep up his play from the 2nd half of the season.

U are chasing potential breh. Those boys still have a ton of it left. They havent peaked and they actually want to be here. Whoever we draft will benefit playing alongside these two.

This whole draft class is potential. All of them have question marks. I'm sure we will get a stud if we stand pat and maybe some steals late. We'll be alright

Edit: but all if this is still dependent on Doncic. If he doesn't come over, Bagley will be gone anyway.

They do. Both can be 1-3 time All Stars. Hell, Prince carried our asses in the 2nd half of the season when we sent him with the gleaguers and he still single handedly carried the team. I get it. It's a silly offer but I am telling you.

Bagley/Bamba. That is a championship frontline in 2022. Add Sexton to that mix and you got a big three. All you need is 3/D players at the 2 and 3 and quality depth.

Both @#1 pick and @Sly Cookin making good points. I'm conflicted on what we should do :mjcry:
Sly is right, I know it to. The difference is, I really don't believe in this core:

Dennis or Sexton
Bazemore or whoever we draft in the future
Prince
Bagley
Collins

It's like an upgraded version of the Smoove/Horford frontcourts and our backcourt is good but it's flawed too.

The perfect center next to Bagley is Bamba. The perfect PF next to Bamba is Bagley. Sexton if he improves that jumper and PG skills, would be lethal with them in the frontcourt. The wings just need to be shooters who can defend the perimeter with quality depth. That's why I am like, go make this move. If you really buying into the rebuild and belief of a NBA title. Go ALL the way in.

Like I said, I know it's a bad deal for us. But hear me out. Bamba maybe transcendent which I already think Bagley will be and you get to place him with Bagley. That covers our frontcourt for the next 12-15 years. We still have flexibility. We can literally trade the 19 for the 14/Faried. We can literally flip 14 and 30 for 10 or 11 for Sexton. We still have money to where if a team like Phoenix needed some cap to get a max player, we can get T.J. Warren for free. We have a lot of flexibility.

Sorry but as much as I love Baze production when he started playing within himself, Prince at the 2nd half of the year and Collins play in general says he has all-star potential. I am not sold on this core being championship caliber with or without Bagley. But I am more open to that if I have something like Bagley/Bamba frontcourt and an attacker from the perimeter like Sexton. That makes it easy moving forward to get 3/D wings. That's what could win championships and many.

Think about it.

In five years:
Sexton
3/D wing w/ size
3/D wing w/ size
Bagley
Bamba

That's an extremely athletic frontcourt with great talent and ability to cover ground, a leader who's a pitbull in Sexton and an elite scorer in Bagley and Gobert with a jumpshot in Bamba. That will be extremely hard to stop.

I know for a fact that Memphis will win the deal for about 3 years.

Conley is one of the best PG's in the NBA. Makes it easy for everyone. Bazemore is an excellent cutter and now that he's playing within himself, he doesn't overdo it like he used to. Prince is basically Black Hedo Turkoglu . He went from the hype of 3/D to really being a 20/5/5 threat who's a playmaker with marginal defense to boot. Far cry from the 3/D hype but a pleasant surprise as no one really used him for this role till we were forced in it. Collins who is already on an path of potential 2-3 time all-star career will play with one of the best setup men in the NBA in Gasol and Conley. His job will be a lot easier and he will be a 20/10 threat with Memphis instantly with the trade.

Look, I get it, I am helping turn Memphis into a 50+ win team next year. I know. But damn, we gotta do what's best for us. A combination of Bagley/Bamba could have championship goals especially if we can land Sexton which I think is highly possible since many teams want the wings around 8-10 and only one team wants a PG in the top 10 and that's Orlando who likes Young. I am telling you guys. This won't help us in 2019 but in 2022. This will lead us to the NBA Finals.

That's all I am thinking about. How can we win multiple titles. If you are going to build around Bagley and you know he has defensive flaws that will be there, don't wait till something comes. Take it by the horn and solve it early. Dallas didn't realize it till it was late in Dirk's career to get him the RIGHT NBA center. If we know what Bagley is. Get him the personnel. Build around your cornerstone. That's all I am suggesting.

My dream draft is this:
1. Bazemore/Scott/Prince/2nd 19' for Parsons/4/32
2. Trade for 14/43/Faried for 19/cap space. Gets them out of the LT.
3. Draft Bagley III - 3rd
4. Mo Bamba - 4th
5. Move up from 14 to 10-12 range and select Collin Sexton. I'll be willing to trade 30/43 as well.
6. At 32nd, take Josh Okogie
7. At 34th, take Kevin Hervey

2021 starters: wingspan
Sexton 6'7 Two way star player
Okogie 7' 3/D
Hervey 7'3.5 3/D
Bagley 7'1 Offensive juggernaut
Bamba 7'10 Defensive juggernaut.

Insane length and athleticism. Relentless players
