He was in prison for weapons charges and killing a drug dealer...not for shooting 9 cops in self defense...this is assuming your original point was that there's no way to legally protect yourself from police.

The point is, the system still got him on some bullshyt technicality, they weren't letting him get away and got him for something else. He was already in prison when he was convicted of killing that drug dealer too.

He may not have been convicted of shooting 9 cops, but he still died in prison, the end result is the same as if he were convicted.
