I'm both black and an American citizen, and I have never once heard of black Americans being detained on immigration issues on the premises or being illegal. This is news to me.

One could make the same argument about the prevalent gang culture and criminality that has prevented Black American communities from developing and growing for the past 50 years.

But there's also some little underlying issues here which instead of turning a blind eye, we should address everything. The government was already unfairly deporting Haitian illegal immigrants during Bidens term back. It was just not being reported.

My sibling was speaking out against it last year. Shıt, I got plenty of witnesses back home. A lot of Haitian refugees were coming through the Mexican border and being sent right back. The government was purposely pick and choosing who to grant asylum too.

I personally don't mind if Black Americans want to be an ethnic group. I always assumed they were, given how everyone literally makes the distinction (even y'all agree with this) already so I don't get it. Some of the reservations from the detractors, however, come from how it can turn into a hate group and how it will just be utilized as a vechicle for white supremacists to denigrate blacks even further (white already are now claiming that all the good from Black Americans can be attritubted to their influence: be it genetic from the raping of slaves or the selective breeding their claim, or the harsh conditions and contact with other whites apparently different than other groups of blacks that led to ados being what they are today). In other words, everything black and African is terrible and it was the white man's touch that made it better. I think a tacit acceptance of this idea is why some Black Americans will try and claim that they did not originate from Africa at all genetically and are actually Native Americans or from the moon.

Now i can tell you from experience that this is complete utter bullshyt

They dont let black immigrants into this country. At best you may see folks get sponsored by that batch of carribeans and africans who came as students in the 60s-80s and became citizens and refugees who were able to become citizens, but in general the numbers of black immigrants is so tiny its a non factor. I remember seeing there were towns of Haitians in Mexico who just had to set up a life since they couldnt make it across

Yeah, my friend told me in Miami, people are starting to walk with papers so they do not get harassed by ICE. Pathetic part is the ICE agent are likely Immigrants or Children of Immigrants themselves. I could never forgive these Miami hispanics for always voting republicans. it's actually worst

most of the gangs killing each other and running up the block are of the same tribe(African American)
