Don't call them nepo babies, call them legacies

Also to be fair dude was the best pick to play Ice Cube. I mean why not get someone who looks exactly like Ice Cube. He was good in Ingrid Goes West too...

I don’t know why folks are fronting like society doesn’t LOVE nepotism. In the same way ppl are obsessed with sequels, ppl like to see the continuation of something they love(d). It’s no different with offspring of actors. We love to say “ooh he looks just like his daddy in that scene!”

he need to chill out. his white counterparts have been doing this for decades. I don't see the problem. his dad was successful JUST to make it easier for his seeds. so mission accomplished :salute:

I respect him for admitting that Ice Cube being his dad has helped. That's the only beef I have with nepotism babies is when they deny that having their parents helped them out.

Same as in corporate world. I understand when one of the higher ups kids or family members are getting fast tracked through the company. It's when they brag about all their hard work. Well yeah it's easy to work hard knowing that the position/role is guaranteed after paying the dues versus the regular person having to best their ass on the hope and prayer that they'll eventually reach that position or role.
