Fishscale is gonna be remembered far more than Laugh Now, Cry Later ever will. 10 years after their releases I always see Fishscale regarded as a classic but NEVER have I ever seen anyone say Laugh Now, Cry Later is a classic.
I don't think sales should be a good representation for acclaim. MC Hammer's album went diamond but does anyone give a shyt about it? Hell to the no.

That's just my opinion. I'm not saying he's whack, because a part of me really wants to enjoy his music. I'm just being honest when I say i dont understand it.
If you don't understand the music he makes now, and for about 15 years, than you must not understand English very well. He only used that abstract style for a few years.

You know what u gettinf with a cube verse. And while he was on top of the game early on in his career with the socoially concioua street shyt, he was replaced by tupac and the whole world moved on
Ice cube is damn near one dimensional compared to ghostface and cube got classics on classics but you already know what u gettjng when ya buy a cube album: talking tough with the same flow/delivery everytravk with really great atories thrown in.
Ghostface can do everything cube can do and then some.
Post me 20 songs where cube takes a different approach style to each song.

I'd argue Cube's accessibility as a reason why he ended up getting more sales than Ghost. Fishscale is better than LNCL in almost every way but LNCL is probably more accessible than Fishscale

Na it's just because Cube is bigger
I think Ghost is more versatile and creative with concepts than Cube but I don't think you can say he's a better storyteller. Their styles are so different it makes for a tough comparison. I think it's really close anyway. They're my 1 and 2. But it's just that Cube's peak work gives him the edge for me, while I'll admit Ghost's longevity and consistency is unmatched.

Once upon a time in the projects is one of the dopest story telling tracks. shyt is classic.
Again he has some joints I like. But when people highlight his best work it's the stuff I can't get into and I've been rocking with Cube my entire life. I'm not saying Ghost is terrible. I'm choosing Cube cause he's one of my favorites. But I do think that people overrate him but we all do that with our favorite artists.
