When it comes to pop culture relevance outside of music, the main difference between the two is Cube made an effort and it just kinda came to Ghost. I remember when Jon Favreau announced he was directing "Ironman" he used this to promote it:
And they gave Ghost a part in the movie. He actually filmed an entire scene with Robert Downey Jr. but it was cut because the movie was too long. Not to mention MTV2 paid Ghost just to talk in the mid 00's.
Fred.
Same could be said about Cube when it comes to pop culture relevance outside of musi......... John Singleton was so taken away by NWA that he stepped to Cube and was like "I need you in my first movie"....Just from what Cube was representing at the time that was enough to push John Singleton to create one of the best hood movies ever and have Cube included in it....Even had Cube included in the sndtrk........And they would also work together again on Higher Learning where Cube played a grown up version of Huey from The Boondocks.
