Sorry to break it to ya..Cube been had ghostwriters
I think he just got too busy, rich and lazy to focus on rap

Hitman confirmed more than a decade ago that Cube had a writer
It's only news to goofies like you

damn this interview was sad, really sad that he didn't put any of those projects out like planned seems like decent dude, no star power but thought he was alright on the mic

yes
The joints I’ve heard with E A Ski producing are dope AF so far. It’s Cubes stuck in the past flow that I can’t really fukk with these days.
2006 Ice Cube gave us 'Laugh Now Cry Later'

Seems that's where the stuck in the past flow started

That album is underrated though so if he delivers that it'll be a worthwhile album ... It's also cool to see him garner commercial success at this point since he is like the George Harrison figure and his legacy has been overshadowed by Dr. Dre and on a more iconography level, Eazy-E

I think I'm the only person that liked part one. Part two might be his worst album, though, either that or I Am The West.
The War album was my first Ice Cube album that I got for Christmas in '98. That joint was fire to me. I think I randomly picked up the Peace joint from Target like 2 years later. It was ok and had a few nice joints but War >>> Peace.

I Am The West imo, was basically Cube's "Party & Bullshyt" album which was basically one big West Coast celebration album.

That’s true, he was trying to spit over those Lil Jon beats and it wasn’t really working, it slowed his flow down a lot and he has stuck with that. It’s not JUST the flows it’s the way he puts his words together and his cadence as well, It pisses me off because when it all comes down to it AMW is probably my fav album of time. But his new stuff is ok, I’ll always check it out and then go back to the classics.
