I guess you can see it that way, but it seems meaningless to me. 98% of the Jews in Europe were either killed or escaped Hitler before the American forces even got there. Something like 6,000,000 were killed during the Holocaust and another 3,000,000 escaped on their own while only 200,000 were freed from the concentration camps. So I don't like giving America credit for shyt they failed to do. It makes it sound noble so say "we saved the Jews" when we didn't give a shyt about the Jews and didn't do jack shyt for 95%. It's like saying that White Union soldiers died for the Black man.
