I wish I knew the official name of this dish.. I think it is called Nigerian pepper/peppermint soup. It has boneless fish in it.. I think tilapia... My Mom friend Nigerian and she used to give us it in containers. It is :wow: :wow: :wow:
I'm eating some egusi with mackerel and giant shrimps in it, staring out my living room windows, watching the rain with a tear in my eye as I type this.

I think West African restaurants try to cover all the staples in places with limited options for West African food
