My old job ran an apple repair center outside of Harrisburg, PA for the last 6 years. I did time studies on how long it takes to do various repairs. The screen repair cell workers goal times were around 7 minutes to replace the screen and casing around the phones.
The X-series repair has you reapply the waterproofing seal and there's also a tiny ground connector that, if lost or misplaced, renders the camera inoperative. The time it takes is so that I don't have to replace a $1,000+ piece of equipment. Things are different when you do these on your own dime.
Hell, iPhone 5's took 30 minutes because of the stupid Home button connector clip.
