Definitely QT's most "mature" film and my personal favorite of his, but I can see how people who are used to his more over-the-top stuff would find it boring, as there wasn't much action, and almost no blood and gore.
I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a top Tarantino movie. Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are his top 2 followed by the rest. But the movie is definitely a classic and has a great soundtrack.
Samuel L Jackson’s character Ordell was used to the way things were. His life had become so routine that he became sloppy and entitled. He was so confident that Jackie wouldn’t betray him that he allowed himself to be used by the woman he trusted the most. He expected his loser friend to come home and change. And he played it all wrong knowing he was being watched. Great movie about damn near every way to fukk off a good run. Even having that burnt out surfer bytch was an L.
