I hated him at first because he was another unstoppable monster, who usually have short shelf lives, and he was an Undertaker knockoff.

He kept doing his unstoppable monster thing and I was waiting for it to end, but it seemed like it wasn’t.

Then he beat Austin for the title. Even though he won cause of interference from Undertaker and he lost it back the next night, it legitimized him to a degree because it seemed he was here to stay and not just a monster used for an angle to then be let go or turned into a midcarder that mostly gets people over.

In retrospect, he was a very valuable contributor to one of wrestling’s best eras.

Remember when he basically raped Lita, forced her into marriage...SUPER HEEL, right? Wrong. He went away for something...Snitsky caused Lita to lose that baby and Kane came back as a face automatically because he was harassing Lita. I think it was Taboo Tuesday...Snitsky damn near squashed Kane...lol. Everybody was in shock.

Kane is a GOAT. People give him his credit, but imo he deserves more. When he started rocking business suits, and became cooperate (current gimmick) i hated it. But if you look at his career as a whole. It kind of makes sense. He WAS a monster/machine. He slowly became more and more human as his career went on (being around people all these years humanized him). At least that's how i see his character. The thought is so dope to me.

Besides 2010 when he was feuding with Rey, 97-04 Kane was still highly credible. 2002 though when he came back doing the spinarooni and talking more instead of being a ring wrecking monster, people were kinda “” to him. History will be kind to him though and he’s very under-appreciated.
