What to do? I've been around 115lbs most of my adult life until a few months ago and now im at 120. I think it's the perfect weight for me except all the weight went to my cheeks and stomach :sadbron:
I know i need to eat good so i need tips on what type of food. I rarely eat red meat, love tofu, rice and fried plantains. HELP :lift::lift:

I had flat abs 3-4 years ago just off going hard in the gym, cutting out white bread and eating my fruits instead of drinking them.

cut out drinks except for water and BLACK coffee

reduce salt intake alittle bit

Lower your fat intake, stop ingesting refined sugars, eat more veggies, eat more fruit, and do more ab work.....

Do you weight train? If not, than you need to start adding a weight routine to your cardio routine because building muscle is the best way to lose fat....

i love white bread this is going to be hard.

120 lbs is obv not the perfect weight for you

Eat less and do abdominal planks

When you can hold that position for like 3-4 minutes your stomach should be pretty damn flat.
i say its perfect cos my booty got bigger. im 5'4. that looks hard. i cant even do sit ups.:snoop:

i already do all that except the sugar. its a struggle. i dont think i weight train. do you mean dumb bells?

Yeah... In a perfect world, all your sugar would come from the fruits you eat. When you go out, try and stick to alcoholic drinks that don't require sodas. At home, mix crystal light with your water instead of drinking juice, or sodas...

Here is an example of a workout I would make my female friends do(In college I took a test and received a ACSM certification to be a personal trainer for side money)

*Always take 1 minute rest between sets and 2 minute rest between exercises*

Core
(Planks work for this, Hold plank for 1-2 minutes, rest 30 seconds do it again 2 more times)

Glutes/Ham
(Do 3 sets/12 reps on the leg curl machine at a low weight, or if you can, hold one 20lb dumbbell in your hands and do straight leg deadlifts with it..)

Upper Back
(Bent over reverse flys with 5lb dumbbells or lighter. 3sets/12reps)

Quads
(Leg extension machine at a low weight for 3sets/12reps or hold 2 10-15 pound dumbbells to your side and do alternating lunges (3 sets of 12 reps on each leg)

Chest
(Start out with a 25 lb weight plate, lie on a flat bench and press it off of your chest 3 sets/12 reps)

After this workout do a 30 minute cardio finisher

Rest one day

Next workout
do a core
quads
lats (Lat pulldown machine)
glutes/ham
shoulder (shoulder press with light weight 10-15 pounds)

Cardio Finisher...


Alternate between these two workouts with a rest day in between...

I suggest you checkout this book released by "WOMEN'S HEALTH MAGAZINE called "THE BIG BOOK OF EXERCISES"

That will give you TONS of variations and different exercises you can use in the routine I gave you, and eventually you will tailor make your own workout and be able to sculpt your body however you want.
