It's hard moving. No place in the US seems appealing enough to move to. Traveled a lot and no place blows me away. A lot of places cool to. It's but not to live.

I need all four seasons. And a place with some culture and diversity that don't battle/disconnect with each other.

Thats important to me as well.

i feel the exact same way about the US. I've traveled alot too. I'm living in NY, but the only other cities i'd like to live in are Los Angeles and SF. Nothing else appeals to me cause it all feels the same to me. Little to no diversity, no culture (except suburban/fast food/wal-mart/watching sports/getting drunk culture), no real exciting nightlife, no young people except for college students and just nothing special.

San Francisco ain't diverse. All them Silicon Valley nikkaz are tearing that place apart and rebuilding it into a giant frat house.

NYC is trending in the wrong direction.

LA is isn't anymore diverse than Atlanta. They have Mexicans and Persians but we have Hatians, Indians, East Africans, and Wiggers. All it's missing is Black Latin folk and Atlanta would be perfect.

The DMV seems like the move though. You probably wouldn't have a hard time finding an education job with all that govt money they got out there.

Where do you think the first generation gentrifiers are going to head to next, once all the NYC housing is too cheap?

His money aint going too much farther than what it goes in NYC tho. DMV damn near just as expensive. Down south is clearly the move if you tryna stretch that bread

OP could live in Uptown dallas for prolly a fraction of what he pays now

Honestly, it seems like a toss up between Philadelphia and Baltimore. There already are people who commute from Philadelphia to work in New York since it's only an hour and a half away, and Baltimore is 3 hours away from NY. I have friends in Baltimore...it's relatively cheap and a 1 bedroom apartment can be had there in the downtown area for $600-$1200 a month.
