Or hit cardio first and don't eat for at least an hour afterword. Since sleep is by default a fasted state, depending on when you ate before you slept, you should
be on an empty stomach and the cardio will hit the glycogen and fat stores. If you did say HIIT, you will get a lasting burn, and staying fasted longer keeps
you burning fat rather than whatever is in the stomach.

You can do light breakfast first, though, because in the end, good habits lead to fatloss over time anyway.
Fat loss isn't even the goal, because I would be bulking. The goal would be endurance for matches, no?

Shiiiiiiiiiit, then hit it up often and eat more cals. You can do it whenever, but do it on the regs. Even a 10 minute match, if the bytch ain't 3 minutes of rest holds, will tire
you all the way out. A couple bumps and you winded.

Uncertain grounds
Eh on some real itish.... I have a friend thats a wrestler (he just moved back to NC about 2 months ago but he used to work for some indies up in Conn.) and he could probably help you and put you on to some good schools and connections.

Real talk this dude knows like mad peeps in ROH, is cool with that Sasha Banks chick, and has a few connections with some other notable folks

Also, he's down here in Charlotte as well

:ohhh: which ones? where?

@ADK u gotta first set up a goal. im assuming its WWE/TNA/Japan?

work on your promos/mic skills. being a top notch talker would probably be the difference between u and someone else. do some writing to find yourself within a script..public speaking classes...improv..spoken word...even volunteering at a youth center randomly to talk to kids could help. get real comfortable speaking in front of people, to the point where u barely even realize they are there but can still maintain a sense of awareness of the overall mood of the crowd and how to best connect with them

as others said..cardio like crazy..not just aerobic but anaerobic as well. you gotta be able to move at a fast pace for a short amount of time then pick it back up again as needed...being able to run at one speed for 10 miles is great but you could still get gassed if youre not used to the start and stop

come up with good chain work and transitions from one move of yours to another and also countering out of your opponents move into yours.

learn how to sell with emotion/facial expressions, not just be able to take good bumps

find a good balance between your physique and move-set. its all gotta look and make sense.

other than that i wouldnt even worry too much about gimmicks and looks and shyt. a good amount of the guys who made it to the top made it off charisma, ring work and promo skills. most of them looked extra bland when on the come-up. chances are any big promotion is going to want to change whatever gimmick u came up with anyway. just lay down the fundamentals that can make anything look good and the only direction after that is up

best of luck to u

I would tell you to come to riot city training in Sykesville maryland, but you live in Charlotte so, nvm. But I will tell you this. Don't stick to a gimmick just yet. Ever since I've been training theres, I've been getting new ideas for things all the time now, so just wait on doing your gimmick for now friend, maybe you'll think of something you might like better in the future. Also my trainer trained with ruckus as well...so there's that.

You gotta come up with your own moves that you're confident in yourself that you can do them. Learn how to keep yourself balanced and controlled. You'll be learning about back bumps, face bumps, front flip bumps, handstand bumps, and, when your at the right level, spike bumps, i haven't done those yet, nor am I in a rush. Though I should start learning them. Also, when you're able to, you will LOVE the back body drop.

WWE is admittedly the childhood goal...
but yea good stuff inside of this post. Also read up on what William Regal had to say about aspiring wrestlers a few days ago. The basics right now is what's most important such as the moves & talking so I feel ya.

There's a school on the Coast headed up by Steve Corino. Looked at it for a min before researching, and wrestling just isn't a profession that's worth the money for the toll you take.

So bulking - eat a lot and do cardio
Cutting - eat a bit less while still doing cardio
