The demand doesn't seem to be going away. They should just legalize it. Open some regulated brothels and take it inside. get rid of the pimps and street walkers.

Trafficking can also apply to something like the Jeffery Epstein case, using federal law, the conspiracy statute specifically.
the RICO was charged as a racketeering enterprise. One of the harder parts is many of the "victims", don't believe they are in fact victims, and maybe some of them aren't, but they almost need to be deprogrammed, to not sell themselves either with a pimp or not. It's a complicated debate. I know pimps and I know escorts too from the old days, one thing for sure, it causes a lot of collateral damage across these families and communities.

El Cajon Blvd used to be the main blade out here, but sting operations shut all of that down. Pimping used to be a big deal out here and I guess it’s making a come back or I’m just so far removed from that street shyt these days that I’m unaware it never left. I remember brehs getting hit with kidnapping charges and shyt and some of my associates were sending bytches back then. I haven’t been to any of those neighborhoods in a while, although I lived in Lemon Grove for years and had potnas in Normal Heights, Spring Valley, National City and on Ocean View.

My wife's cousins are all West Coast Crips and they were big into Pimpin for a good while. Dusty looking dudes driving Benzes and Rovers and still living and trapping in the hood. But once one of them got popped in the head in broad daylight they kinda left the streets or just aged out. Now they just Dusty and broke
