This part makes it see more of a diss.

Who’s next for Lil Wayne if and when Mayweather retires?

“Boxing is hurting,” he said. “I was an Adrien Broner fan before. To know that I actually thought he was going to be the next Floyd Mayweather, where’s boxing at?

Keep in mind Vegas pretty much built an entire party weekend around Floyds fights. Broner dont get that same treatment. Hoes aint scheduling their vacations around Broner :manny:

So what does this mean?:dahell:

No professional Boxer, except Floyd Mayweather, is allowed to enter a club:what:

It doesnt make any sense. No matter how many times anyone says it...it sounds crazy.

Lil wayne has a point and its ok for one of your favorite boxers to take criticism.

No he doesnt have a point. He basically said, "If you're an athlete and you're not being paid, you shouldnt be in the club ever". That sounds like a good point to you?:dahell:

Women know floyd though. They plan their entire yearly vacations about going out to fight weekend during floyd fights..

Once again:

So what does this mean?:dahell:

Its not about being in the club. Its about being in the club downing a liter of grey goose thats the issue.

So you was in there on the night in question?:jbhmm:

Where did you pull this from the article?:jbhmm:

Didnt AB blow up to 170 lbs just a year or two ago ? :aicmon:

Did you not know that every fighter walks around much larger than the weight class they fight in?:jbhmm:

nikkas walk around at 175+ and can cut all the way down to 140-147 to fight. Nobody fights at the actual weight they normally walk around at.

At the end of the day, Weezy point was stupid and to pull 1 paragraph from a long ass article where he's actually discussing some good shyt about him & Floyd, just to talk about AB, is some hating shyt:manny:

You framed it as if he was in the club, with Weezy, downing Grey Goose. I ask you a direct question about how do you know AB was in the club that particular time that Weezy was talking to him, "downing a liter of Grey Goose", and you want me to google search random videos of Adrien Broner drinking alcohol...as if that somehow answers the question posed to you breh:comeon:

See, that's not how it works in here. We all know AB used to drink....and TONS of current boxers and other sports athletes also drink/smoke as well....but what does that have to do with the stupid statement Weezy said? Nothing. Nothing at all.

Athletes of all sports are in the club and guess what....they drink alcohol. You know this breh, because I remember you saying you deal with Clubs in the coliseum.

Bottomline, Weezy basically saying: "No professional Boxer, except Floyd Mayweather, is allowed to enter a club" & "women dont know you, they have to ask their man" doesnt make any sense. No matter how many times anyone says it...it sounds crazy, because women dont know the MAJORITY of athletes period.

It's just a stupid statement.

He's basically saying he was a fan but called him out on his work ethic. Dude was touted as having next up but hasn't put the time and effort into his craft.

He tried to jump on that money heel wave but doesn't understand that Floyd did that as a marketing ploy.

Breh...how did he call him out on his work ethic.

Nobody involved in Boxing has ever said that Broner doesnt work/train hard, so where is this coming from?

Weezy said:

"I talked to Adrien recently at a club. My question was why are you here? I was paid to be here. Why are you here? You box. I tried to tell him that he needs to analyze things. You're in a music club, night club. People here know musicians. The only people in here who know you are guys. You're making a fool of yourself because you think everyone knows you. No woman here knows you. They have to ask their guy who you are. And all you are right now is the guy standing next to Lil Wayne."

^^^Nowhere in there is he talking about his work ethic. He's strictly talking about him being in a club.

How does what he saying NOT guy for any athlete in general who wasnt paid to appear? And that's why I dont agree with that.

No it's not....and I also stan 3 other Boxers, including the one in my avi who is more talented than Broner anyways just like SOG.

I always find it funny how everyone only mentions AB to me though....it just proves the point that most people do not know any Boxers and only go by the most "popular" person.

@Newzz u right. seems like wayne is tryna say broner thinks more of him self(popularity ). but hes really not that popular .

hes basically trying to tell him "ur not floyd yet even though u think u are" in simplest terms without saying floyd name.

also i don't see how u don't agree with this when ab stands for about billions.

Breh, all Im saying is that's cool.

However, that's what he should've said. What he actually said is a bad point imo.

Play on words breh...come on:heh:

AB = About Billions. We know he aint gonna ever get "billions", but that's his play on his name. Could've just as easily been "About Bucks", but then it wouldnt have the same ring to it.

Im sure there that every single time Lil Wayne has stepped in the club, it wasnt because he was paid to do so. Same for Floyd. Same for any athlete. Sometimes, nikkas like to go out:yeshrug:

You think Crawford doesnt go to any clubs unless he's paid to be there breh?:mjpls:

At the end of the day though, Im tired of debating this....especially with posters who I think are good posters (such as yourself and @itsyoung!! and etc in here). I think it's very minor, but of course haters gon hate...and pick out that small portion of the article to make an entire thread about:manny:

Ima leave this thread on some truth like I did the one in the booth:

Yall can say what yall wanna say, call him what yall want, talk about club this/club that...but at the end of the day on October 3rd, AB is gonna become only the 14th person in the entire HISTORY of Boxing, spanning over 120+ years, to win 4 Full Championships over 4 weight divisions...not interim championships:mjpls:

Only Tommy Hearns, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Pernell Whitaker, Oscar De La Hoya, Leo Gamez, Roy Jones Jr, Floyd Mayweather Jr, Manny Pacquiao, Erik Morales, Jorge Arce, Juan Manuel Marquez, Miguel Cotto, and Adrien Broner will have accomplished that feat.:wow:

Man you know its no issues with you as a poster and im still a fan of AB. I think he'll have a great career overall. It just seems to ME his focus is not always there and he wants to be this celebrity that he CAN become , but isnt quite there.

We all know he got a following. His numbers killed Wards on the same night (for numerous reasons) but even if Ward was on a better network AB still woulda killed his numbers. But he needs to win his next few fights by a good margin if he wants to go further in my opinion

And boxing is a crazy intense sport on the body and mind. Im not saying he shouldnt party but he still needa stay on his grind like never before and show us why we thought he was that good in the first place

I agree 100% with every sentence here breh:salute:

Im expecting him to put it all together on October 3rd and does what he needs to do in the ring to get that 4th belt and write his name in the Boxing record book.
