I've already said this, women's politics and emotional wellbeing are intertwined.
You have to understand that overall, throughout the history of mankind, groups of women have never been the recipients of physical violence greater than their men.

Because of that women equate "emotional violence" with real violence, and black men are the most common source of "emotional violence" for a lot of black women.
Most of the physical violence we experience comes at the hands of white people, so we see them as our biggest enemy, a lot of black women see black men as their biggest enemy because of the "emotional violence" they feel we inflict on them.

Black women need help emotionally, but most black men feel like we don't have time to worry about black women emotional wellbeing because we have to worry about real violence, you know death and slavery.
And as men, we can suppress/repress our emotions and keep moving, so they expect women to be able to do the same (we're equal right?).
But no, any nikka that really knows women knows they implode and can't properly function when they're in a bad emotional state.

A lot of problems in black America are based on the myth that men and women are equal and the same, we're not. It's can't be both ways.

TL:DR Gender dynamics and relations in Black America are bad, real bad, catastrophically bad but people keep sweeping it under the rug.
