I think Chino KO's him. Pac doesn't have a better defense than Floyd or Broner. He's miles better than Broner overall, but doesn't have a better defense.
People are forgetting that Pac doesn't have AMAZING power at 147. He has good power. Ruslan dropped Bradley what? 3 times?
Pac hasn't dropped him once in 24 rounds. Didn't drop Rios. Got a flash knockdown on Dinamita.
Chino is coming into the fight with a huge weight advantage. And will swarm Pac from the bell. Ortiz and Khan knocked him down @ 140. He's looked like a better fighter at 147, Better conditioned.
I don't think Pac has the defense to withstand the assault, and I don't think he has the chin to take flush shots from Chino.
Add to the fact that Chino ISN'T SLOW. He's not Margarito slow. He's not blindingly fast, but his overhand right comes in very quickly. And his punches aren't telegraphed. Chino's best weapon is his overhand right, And that overhand right would be there for him because Pac is EXTREMELY vulnerable to that punch.
As you can see here.
No doubt in my mind Maidana hits much harder than Bradley. And Bradley lifted Pac off the ground with one punch.
And before anyone brings up Chino getting dropped and got beat by Khan. Let's remember That was at 140, and not with the added weight behind the punches. Not with Garcia optimizing he fight style. Not with his newly found stamina/conditioning. Maidana seems physically stronger at 147. Dudes coming into the ring as a borderline Super Middleweight. 165 is average for a Middleweight, Big for a Junior Middleweight, but HUGE for a Welterweight.
Maidana had Khan ready to go in their fight, and Khan got saved by Fair But Firm . Go watch that fight, and explain to me why Maidana was pulled off so much in the 10th round. Khan has no business bragging about that W, because he was more ready to go down than a Manhattan prostitute on a Friday night.
A vintage, 2008/2009 Pacquiao destroys Maidana in 4 rounds. Pacquiao of 2014, gets viciously battered. He'd be so much smaller on fight night and that defense is leaky.
