I was reading the Wade Barrett thread and it dawn on me that the whole "heel/face" aspect of wrestling seems dated as hell. It was even questionable in the 80s with The Horsemen being cheered despite their wrong doings to Dusty. Why promotions rely on such a bland trend, when the reality is that wrestling fans can change with a drop of a hat? Hell look at Roman Reigns, dude gets booed and shytted on throughout his solo career (for the wrong and right reasons), but when he started losing his shyt (beating up Trips), the crowd lost their shyt.
Bottom line, if kayfabe is a joke nowadays...this heel/face shyt needs to be a punchline as well![Camby :camby: :camby:](https://www.thecoli.com/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/camby.png)
