dude just corny.....remind me of the cousins nobody want to hang with.......
Dude been getting love around here for a minute
But yeah he's my favorite rapper right now. I understand why a lot of people aren't feeling him but I don't see what's corny about him tbh. He just be spittin. Them love songs do blow my high though.
He kills most his features and his bars and concepts are top notch right now
nikka's character is fukkin awful.
As a MC he is slightly above average. The nikka has absolutely NO charisma. And it always seems like he is fukking complaining in a interview or he drunk as fukk being a overall ass.
No Charisma
I wouldn't say all that. Its just. Well first off, let me explain DC Swag to you all.
DC has an odd style. They always kinda rode to this weird style beat.
The best way I can explain it. Take Jim Jones, Bird Gang.
DC nikkaz try to carry themselves like they on some NYC-South type steez?
Like, NY'ers stereotypically are looked at as being somewhat cocky?
But its like a cultural/local thing.
DC, they haven't earned shiit yet in the scope of things as far as hip-hop concerned.
Wale got big upped by Jigga, then all of a sudden he got too confident. And thats sort of the vibe of the youth movement in general.
Everybody RICH, everybody got money to blow. Everybody ballin and got it like that Everybody the best to ever done it and shyt.
Wale is a portrayal of the DC mindset. The look, the swag. I'll give him that, but I personally was never a huge fan of what that "DC swag" was anyway. Never seemed authentic to me. Some nikkaz still wearing Coogi n shyt
Hmmm makes sense.
But it seems like Wale actually grew up in Maryland sub-urbs, and he always gets real sensitive when people call him out on it.
He has a intro to a song about that. Bmore stations don't show DC artists love
