I really do get the feeling everyone is bipolar.

Some folks swing the pendulum faster and in more extremes whilst with others its a question of degrees but I genuinely believe there are very, very few people walking around chemically unassisted that are on an even keel naturally. What I mean by that is people have their own covert coping strategies like working out a lot to generate dopamine hits, eating lots of chocolate/dairy products or gluten/msg to get that opiate fix or lighting trees and taking a sip, compulsive sexing etc...

For example if I were to remove your go to at the moment of stress I can guarantee you'd swing wider on the sanity scale than what was previously kept in check and if it was placed off limits for good you'd get wilder and wilder with each swing until it became obvious there was a problem that was previously kept hidden hence why people do the whole TGIF thing and why its only 9-5 because 9-6 might just kill a bish.

The hypothesis is that maintaining this semblance of normality and the pressures to fit in to a world that long ago flipped its lid and forces its denizens to live lives inauthentic is extremely stressful on a subconscious level hence the aforementioned vents which lead me to the conclusion that everyone is bipolar.

What do you think? We could get into things like personality shifts, acting out, compulsiveness and other effects that led me to this conclusion but lets keep it simple and go with your own wisdom, knowledge and innerstanding based on whats said.

Be real.

Bipolar Disorder (also known as Manic Depression): A disorder associated with episodes of mood swings ranging from depressive lows to manic highs.

I believe the frequency of your mood swings, as well as the peaks and troughs of those mood swings, can determine bipolar ness.

Would appreciate if a breh with Bipolar Disorder spoke on this more in depth

For those that didn't read the OP:

Without covert coping strategies to counterbalance the swing what I'm saying would be quite obvious among the general population.
