I don't even think it's reading too much into it. Even if we say he had nothing to do with it.....that's quite an odd reaction/expression to make about someone who died right? What's funny or "wink wink" about that shyt, unless you're just trying to be disrespectful. Or you're trying to send a message.
The more we learn about this shyt it really feels like while Nip's death wasn't some planned event amongst multiple people (it was one dude catching feelings and coming back blasting)...a lot of people clearly resented him and are relishing the opportunity to exploit or destroy the things he built. These dudes are giddy about the disrespect. OGs who were jealous that a young dude did more to elevate their lifestyle/name than they ever could. Jealous that he was about to transcend the streets. Jealous that bigger and more constructive OGs like Hov were now in the picture, presumably giving him advice that would have taken him out of their reach.
