You may want to suggest that she take a break from social media for a while. Periodically I have to do that for myself to keep myself from becoming mentally ill and radicalized. There's so much negativity and toxicity online. And it takes its toll on EVERYONE. No matter how stable you are in real life.

Exactly. The worst thing to do is to ignore it and do nothing if you really care.

If she has an anti-black male or pessimistic view of black couples or male views, then try and highlight stuff that shows black men doing good or what not.

Right, when she is disparaging BM he can say something as simple as "Damn that's what you think of me"?? Personalizing it may help to make her reflect on exactly what she's saying and it's effects.

Moreover, you have to essentially other the very group she is siding with, since those are all built up on through confirmation bias. The latter is harder since it has be done in a subtle manner or she will assume she herself is being attacked.
Before all of this, try and find out, without judging, why she feels the way she feels about various things. The more you let someone talk, especially when they have something on their mind, the more they will reveal what they are truly thinking.

She's in her mid 20s and like many people she browses message boards. She lurks Reddit, YouTube, and Lipstick Alley. I know she lurks the later because she's linked me to gossip threads on here. No big deal.

Fast forward to my mother and I talking about the Chris Rock special. She mentioned my sister thought Chris Rock is a c00n She basically said that Rock his wife of 25 years for a white woman, which is not true if you know the history.

I recall my sister sending me a video of The Weeknd next to H.E.R and them not embracing. This was from a LSA post because there's a narrative that Weeknd hates Black Men.

Of course when Kamala was running for VP she definitely agreed with the narrative that anyone who disagrees with her hates Black women.

My mother thinks that my sister involves herself too much in the gossip even though she empathizes with the struggles of her being a Black woman, she may take it on the deep end because of stuff on LSA.

For the record my sister is in shape, has a successful career, late 20s, pretty religious, and has a boyfriend. No tattoos or septum piercings. She knows better than that. I think she just is internalizing a lot of crap from the media and feeding into it more. I know I definitely have taken some coli talking points but I can also critically think.
