If not enough fiber....Eat beans, a can or 2 of black beans a day should get things moving regularly. Add hot pepper to your foods, that usually helps do the trick. Drink some psyllium fiber every night.

Now if you are OD with fiber from being vegetarian/vegan/whatever you is... you may need to cut it back because its bloating you and stopping you up.

i used to shyt every day when i was eating meat. i stopped eating meat almost 2 years ago and i have been having problems with bowel movements ever since. i am constipated most of the time and i'll have a regular bowel movement every blue moon. every other time that i feel like i have to shyt, it comes out in pellets. only way i can get real relief is to drink magnesium citrate sometimes. there has got to be a better way! help brehs!

I just started a whole food plant base this month and I shyt like 2 - 3 times a day, you must be eating processed junk

get a probiotic.

ive tried several when I had severe stomach issues (I was getting pain so bad I couldnt sleep...and I lost a lot of weight).
Bio-Kult was the best I found and completely healed my gut.

Well... what are you eating now? Could be a lot of reasons.

Since its pellets, start by drinking more water.

drink more water. the more fiber you eat, the more water you need to poop

You might want to chill with the soy...........

Throw all that soy crap in the bushes

Get back to meat...That's Humannature Breh.

Too much fiber causes constipation!!!!!!!

I've been on my cycling regimen. Riding for like 2 hours everyday. I didn't realize it until I started carb loading (for energy for the ride) that what Ive been eating the last week has me backed the fukk up!

Too much fiber. Brown rice, oatmeal, :snoop:

I even started taking a fiber supplement because I dropped from going 3 good times to 1 good time and 2 bad times to just 2 bad times, to just 1 bad time, to sometimes not even going in 24 hrs.

My fiber intake is through the roof. And I'm bloated. And I drink lots of water. :snoop: fukk!

You gotta stop for at least 72 hours.

I've been reading foods I need to stop eating.

:snoop:

It's pretty much everything I eat. Like 95%.

I'ma be eating carnation instant breakfast with milk, and white bread with honey for 72 hours. I think for dinner I'll have ground beef over lettuce.

And I still have to workout. :snoop:

I can't have any spicy food, pretty much none of the veggies I eat (broccoli, carrots, onion) no Sriracha,no almonds, no cashews, no raisins,

I eat in moderation but with my cycling training I had to ramp up (eat a lot more) and my body is saying :camby:.

I just have to go a lot easier on cycling.

I actually have physical medical books (which talks about various symptoms and ailments) then I have physical books on foods meats, vegetables and their vitamins and minerals.

About 3 years ago I was going hard with the green smoothies along with high vegetable consumption and probiotics.

Was probably the worst style of eating I've ever tried. Bloat was ungodly. Intestinal irritation was at an all time high. :heh:

These days I barely eat any fiber and stick with easily digestible foods. Haven't had a bout of constipation since.

Brown rice

OT: I threw that in the bushes a long time ago, white rice digest wayyyyyy better IMO without any bloat. If it was so bad, Japanese people wouldn't be living till 100+ years old eating it. You can get fiber from elsewhere.

I only eat brown rice 1-2 times per week. It costs too much. I get like a 50lb bag of white for $20 and it lasts like 4 months.

cutting out veggies will definitely stop you up.

but you say you cut out meat...that is surprising it affects or brings about constipation like that. :leon:

most of fiber is in veggies and fruit. not the meat.

are you eating enough?

if it's pellets, maybe you aren't just eating enough? when you cut out meat, did the amount you eat decrease?

are you hydrated enough?

even if you are getting a lot of fiber, it helps to be well hydrated with water.

do you eat more starches (potatoes, rice, bread) than veggies?

a heavily starch diet will stop you up, if you aren't getting enough veggies.

what are meat substitutes?

good meat substitutes should be beans (lentils, chickpeas, black beans, pinto beans, etc. ). not only do they provide fiber, but some protein you no longer get from meat.

You should consult a doctor and get it checked out. Tell them your diet and eating habits. Hopefully, they can point you in the right direction.
