Ive always jokingly said the HGH Messi received as a child is linked to his amazing talent...but if you talk to a endocrinologist, it doesnt work the way you made it seem. There are certain chemicals (i use that as a broad term for any biological hormone or enzyme or whatever) that react differently in your body during certain times of your life. He was given that stuff because his body wasnt producing enough of it at the right time. I think he stopped treatments well before he reached adulthood. He wouldve been even shorter than he is if he never got those treatments and probably some other health issues as well.
