What wars were bloods in? They mostly terrorized civilians. Bloods probably formed out of necessity to protect nikkas from the Hispanic gangs in rikers back then.

nyc is mostly about neighborhood/drug crews and cliques don't let the blood crip hype fool you. when bloods and crips hit the scene and was really popular none of them was really running shyt, it was mostly little nikkas running around doing dumb shyt and petty crimes. a matter of fact few of them were even loyal to that shyt cause a lot of bloods flipped to crips and visa versa. nowadays the trend seem to be reverting back to crews and cliques or smaller scale city bred gangs.
