Californ-i-a by way of BK
Crips in NYC been around since the 80's. came from the Panamanians who came here with direct ties to R60 DG30 R30 in California. they just were not as big as they are now. there were more crews homegrown gangs...but they faded as drug crews took over. Savage Nomads...La Familia even though they are still around as old heads come home...Netas and LK had fully sanctioned groups as well. alot of ethnic dominican gangs. if you remember white tee gang...DDP...who eventually got absorbed in the Trini's then youre around the same age. far as racial lines...on the streets they reflect behind the wall. black and hispanics always been at each other throats in the prisons. Bloods were at war with the Kings, now theyre at work with the trini's and its been splinning over into the streets but nothing like what ya see out in LA.
Yep. Obviously there's the Decepts and their subsets, and Lo's too, and then smaller fractions in Flatbush growing up we had LRN (Little Rough nikkas), NFO (No Fair Ones), OTR (On The Run), and other factions.

yeap...and alot of these groups were the equivalent of peewees in Latin Kings. the minor league for the young bangers to get groomed. you remember LNW? that one was the biggest peewee Bloods faction i remember coming up.

Had a white tee fam member, and a high ranking DDP best friend. shyt was insane in the early 2000

DDP hold no weight in Jail though. Trini's running them jail cells. You turning trini in jail no way around it.

DDP dominated uptown. White Tee made a hella mark. thats what im saying...Trini became the umbrella. any dominican crew if you werent under the Dominican Mafia Crips and related sets were auto Trini behind the walls. And even then...i heard alot of those DMC guys changed sides eventually.

Nah, I definitely am not the same age but props for the history lol. My question why has they been such a divide between black and latino people? Aren't we both in the same boat anyway stuggling and at the bottom? Makes no sense to me then people try to combine the black and brown struggle but that's dishonest.

I also wanted to ask if you think Tax Stone was saying he started Gorilla Stone in this clip? I doubt it lol.

Yup this what got Wayne and Baby falling in love with the Blood lifestyle.

I was wondered why CMB didn’t run under Queen Street and Inglewood Family instead of MOB and Bounty Hunters.
Because Mack 10 putting them on is just as BS as the "CMR used to be crips" claim. They didn't start repping that shyt and wearing only red rags until a totally different group of people came around. That was like late '04. "Blood" ain't even fly out of Wayne's mouth on records unitl '05. Mack ain't shyt in his own hood. He ain't putting nobody on.

Gorillas (BSV & GSV) been around since i was a teen...north bronx and deep somewhere in Brooklyn....before taxes' claim.
Yeah must be a different gang cause I know he with BSV due to one of his popular phrases. I doubt it's BSV so it must be some other set.
