one of the best shows I ever watched, the tears, the joy, the ups and downs

even if you aint into football a great ass show, i watched all 5 seasons like 70 something episodes in a month

This, so much. I'm not a fan of American Football at all but the show is so easy to watch. Few dips in quality along the way and the writers strike sure didn't help.

and then there's the women :wow:

the ending episode was the GOAT

:sadcam:

im in tears brehs

buddy garrity the goat booster, the goat alumni, a gawd

some things that bothered me

how the hell matt is affording a apartment in chicago didnt go to school let got a decent job at a art gallery :childplease:

who became the coach of the dillon panthers superteam?

i hate how in the final season how they cut the football scenes down so muchg as compared to other seasons, in the first few seasons football games you saw a bit at each quarter the half time speech etc. in the last season sometimes you didnt even see one little highlight just after the game them putting the game ball in the trophy case, i mean at state it was just slow mo at the cotton bowl and thats it

Yeah, you can tell they had no budget during season 5.

seasons 2 &3 were miles ahead of 4 and 5

I know a lot of people disagree but show fell off hard after coach went to east dillon except for stuff with Vince

Same thing I did. After 1 or 2 episodes I was hooked. Even though I damn near gave up during season 2 cause it went down hill fast. Glad to see it bounced back the way that it did.

how the hell did riggins (and layle and tyra) go from being seniors in the first season to having two more years in high school  especially when they specifically said riggins was 17 that first season when he was sleeping with the chick. anyway, that inconsistency is making season 3 hard to take seriously

Season 2 was :trash:

They don't even mention the events that happened in season 2. That's how garbage it was.

Writers flubbed. I read somewhere they were taken aback by how popular Riggins ended up being...so they pretended he was younger in the following seasons to give him more time in high school.

you know whats funny, people talked so much shyt about season 2 that when i re-watched the series i was prepared for it to suck. but i couldnt distinguish it quality-wise from any of the other seasons, thats how good it was. a little 'out there' but still brilliant

i think this is one of those points that everyone repeats cause they cant distinguish quality on their own :yeshrug:

Nah I fully disagree. I remember watching season 1 and flat loving it and thinking it lived up to the hype. Then I watched season 2 and by episode 8 or 9 it was a chore to even get through the episodes. It was to the point that I was about to give up on the series all together. Season 1 went from being more well rounded and more grounded in reality and then season 2 they seemed to just go off the deep end for the drama.

season 2 was pretty good imo. season 4 was when it got wack. vince went from someone who never played to a game to robert griffin and the 5 star recruit white boy went from sean lee to a fukking scrub. shyt was all over the place. coach tyler coaching east dillion? stop it slime. the show went downhill from there. felt like some mighty ducks gordon bombay shyt

Watched every episode in like 3 weeks, got hooked on it. One of the best non pay channel shows Ive ever seen. Season 1 is the GOAT but season 4 came through with that different look like season 4 of the wire and was brilliant.
