My stance on all of this is that previous administrations played the same game with different strategies. You are clearly not seeing that sleepy Joe's administration went around the world threatening countries to not do business with enemies they created, China , Russia, Iran , Cuba , Venezuela. Obama destroyed Libya , made a mess in Somalia, continued the lie in Afghanistan & Iraq. Cheeto fired some people so he can remake the federal government into an image MAGA approves . The republicans have something that I wish democrats had: The willingness to play the long game. Donald Trump's presidency is something that rich whites have been working towards since FDR. They hated the new deal and wanted it destroyed. To that end, they built think tanks, PACs, lobbying groups and bought up local media. They've funded people loyal to them at every level and created lists of people for presidents to pick and appoint to key positions.

He's going to continue to swing the courts right and his rich friends who own media publications will continue to downplay his actions. If one or more justices retires or dies, he will appoint more and republicans will make sure those appointments pass through as fast as possible. Then they can change the 22nd amendment. Getting assassinated is a whole different story. All it takes is one person to do something like that.
