I recently watched Kuroko's Basketball Anime for the first time.

Yea yall need to subscribe to the anime thread. We were going nuts every week when new episodes were dropping. Aomine is still the coldest fukking thing I've ever seen in a sports anime.
Yo, the sequence where Aomine enters the Zone is INCREDIBLE. I expected like the backboards to shatter and shyt when he started powering upI don't give a shyt about anything, the author of this is a genius. This dude took something simple as a basketball player going off or being "in the zone"(like Kevin Durant going apeshyt) and turned it into a fukking power up
This show is straight fire, the creativity and mish mash of all of these different elements is crazy. The crossovers that Aomine the God was hitting nikkas with were brutal as hell
just finished this ep this mornin... fire--- 5-6 eps for 1 game lol..

They usually have to add a supernatural or "power up mode' for most sports anime (Shout outs to Hajime no Ippo) they'd be pretty boring without em. Eyeshield 21 was infamous for this.

Theres only 3 seasons to this anime so enjoy this last game against the Emperors. I wish they would make more. Probably the only filler of a show I would watch really. I just need more Aomine in my life. 
For this nikka to be that damn good and he doesn't even practice or want to play is just . The flashback story really let you see how Aomine became who he was and how it really wasnt his fault. Everyone let him down. Made him sacrifice his drive to compete for the sake of winning. Competition completely demoralized and made this boy say I can't be beaten, but I want to be beaten so I can still love this game. Homey literally stopped hooping so he could wait on someone to be good enough to play him. Kuroko just wanted to see him enjoy basketball again. 
When he finally lost to Kagami he was 
at the same time. Kuroko didn't let him down. I wish we could see what he would be like when he starts to practice again. Aomine taught Kuroko how to shoot and Kuroko taught him how to love the game again. Aomine and Kuroko, the original Light and Shadow.
