He spit some thought provoking verses, gave us some new takes, and new concepts.

No, he didn't.

Jay's too late in his career for us to give him props about talkin' on his feelings.

Murder To Excellence; dope, but, his Fred Hampton line was disrespectful

Don't compare yourself to a young brother murder while doin' so much for poor ppl...21 yrs old

Especially, when that was the first time he was on some "I love my people" tip

While all he does is; want us to call him "Hov" and wish we were like him

And he's too sophisticated to be referring to himself and Hampton as "real nikkas"

New Day was okay...just okay

WTT is an okay record, but, that's it

Jus say you dont like the man instead of trying to put yourself on the pedastal of some guy that understands music and condescendingly speaks of his fans as "simple minded"

Its obvious he's the anti-thesis of the type of person you are a fan of and the type of person you are, and it has nothing to do with his talent.

Ive heard the stories of this legend called Art Barr, but seeing your posts just ooze false intelligence, masked by insults which assumes your opinions as somehow objective on any level.

U are trash and a joke of a legend, and shame on the people who have become your stans:win:

Only toys and teens? You got it twisted hombre. You have this idea that all music is supposed to be some ultra introspective sht that hits you deep.

When you grow out of your pretentious attitude you realize that all music have different purposes.

Some songs (H.a.m, nikkas in Paris, Otis) are meant to just be enjoyed on a surface level, just to be a nice song to listen to, not a topic to really provoke your thoughts)

But you got your songs such as No Church, New Day, Murder to Excellence etc., that are meant fro you to digest and and to "enjoy" it as it provokes your thoughts on a deeper level.

Now you may not be a fan of "fun music" but there are people who enjoy music for fun also and it'd be wise for you and other listeners to realize that fact instead of looking down on others who like to bump a nikkaz in Paris once in a while.

But hey do you kid:yeshrug:

Absolutely agree with the threadstarter. Hov came on point on every song, except for Lift Off. Murder to Excellence, No Church, New Day, Who Gon Stop Me, Primetime, The Joy, all exemples of a very good Hov.

Never understood the hate for Watch The Throne, in my eyes 1 of the best albums of the last 10 years...
