I was not living with anyone without a ring on my finger and a wedding date. That's not how I operate.

I guess. I couldn't get engaged to someone unless I know we would be able to cohabit without having any major problems. Don't need any surprises.

I've dated girls who don't have their shyt together and can't pay bills, it's not a good look. Can't say that I blame this girl

On the bolded, I've done the same, that is stressful, this is facts. I not gonna go demanding credit scores, however as long as you can handle your own bills and such we good.

at least that first woman isn't asking for something that she isn't herself. You have a lot of people saying theyd only get with a Boss and they aren't a Boss themselves.

:manny:

It's not much different than a millionaire saying theyd only marry another millionaire.

Sound Reasoning
I have no issue with the premise. If you're a "house, career, 401K" type, then it makes sense to buy into the hoopla about having a high credit score. The reality is, middle class people buy into credit so much because they would be poor without it. So, it makes sense to care about having a high credit score since most workers tend to be cash poor and their only asset is their house.

But credit is simply a supplement for low/no cash.

High Cash > High Credit Score

Peace

My shyt was in the 700 range until I got a bunch of hard credit checks while I was in the market for a car two and a half years ago. According to my credit history, I hadn't missed any payments on student loans or whatever, my stuff was up to date, and I don't have a credit card of any kind to use, so I was like :wtf: because I couldn't fathom how my credit was jacked up on the strength of a dealership seeing if I had good enough credit to get financed or whatever it was. Turned out, said inquiries coupled with a relatively short history of things (basically dating back to student loans) was not a great combination.

So, I'm trying to dig on out of it. Couple friends of mine echoed @Gaffgarion's advice about having credit cards and using them solely for one purpose (gas, grocery, etc.) and being hardline diligent on paying them off on time. I'm wary though.

Keep the balances below 30%. They also look at your debt to income ratio too. Having more than 2 or 3 cards isn't good.

Also every year you can get your credit report for free with annualcreditreport.com

sign up for Credit Karma. It's free and they'll show you the major hittas on your credit.

Most people are buying shyt on credit for wants, no needs though. And if you play the game right, a high cash/high credit score combo is what you want.

If you want a house, you definitely need good credit to not get fukked on your rate.

She should take that 800 credit score and invest in an Boob and ass job :scust:

It's always the chicks that have nothing to offer in the look department that are the most picky :scust:

I'll take the dime piece with the GED and 10 credit score:banderas::banderas::banderas:
