I've surprised dental hygienists and dentists.
I got veneers for actual dental health reasons though and my dentist was nearly obsessive about making them look no different from my natural teeth and indistinguishable from a naturally nice smile upon closer inspection.
No bright white nearly bluish color, or large teeth, ruler edge flat bite surfaces with indistinguishable incisors and canines, uniform unvariated pigment or any of the other cookie cutter characteristics of the stereotypical news anchor plastic smile.
My dentist customized the veneers to my mouth, a regular-ass midwestern teenager in the 90s...
yet we have media stars and multimillionaires in 2018 lookin like Mr Potato Head with their giant, generic, Arctic White smiles
