A lot of what is being said here is false. I'm a dark skinned Black woman and I have never had anything against dating dark skinned Black men or been afraid to have dark skinned kids. All those insecurities should go away at least by the time you're done with high school.

For me it just always happened that mixed and latino men, and now European men, came after me the most. But my current man is from Ghanian and darker than me
