I remember seeing SM3 commercials and the movie "The Wizard", showing a flying Mario and going oh shyt.

Especially after that bullshyt called Super Mario 2.

It's the first game that made me sad when I beat it. It was that fukking epic.

I added Mario All-Stars on my modded mini-snes. I also went and added Chrono Trigger, NBA Jam, Turtles in Time, Mystical Ninja, Donkey Kong Country 2 and 3, and the rest of the Final Fantasy and Mega Man X joints. I still rank the snes the best console of all time.
Mario All-Stars also has a save function if people have issues with the original version not having saves.

I have a tie with SNES and PS2 for GOAT console for me.

But yeah once it was revealed that the min-snes could be easily modded I added so many games to it.

I need to fire that system up because it's been a minute since I played it.

Once you beat it I’m going to turn you onto SMB3 Speedruns

The game is jam packed with secrets to replay it and complete it faster.

Once you beat the game the real game starts and that’s complete and utter mastery. I’m talking beating the entire game all world in a sesh.

The world record for completing the game all worlds in one sesh is 1 hour and 9 minutes. And of course that record itself been beaten.
