album is conceptually amazing

but its boring to me... and i was never really a huge PF fan


its def a good album but imo its over rated

I agree and I'm a fan of the movie also, but out of the major bands of that era that gets listed they are probably my least favorite next to The Who.

The only standout on the album is the Great Gig in the Sky to me but that's because of Clare Torry's vocals. Besides that it is pretty boring.

The Song Remains the Same/ Houses of the Holy > Dark Side of the Moon

Genius album..nothing can compare to the creativity of those days.
I don't listen to Rock that much but it is what is.

There are still creative artists..but unlike those days, where musicians like Pink Floyd were the standard..if you dont fit in the bubblegum-simple music criteria you won't get spins.

animals is prob my fav from them too with wish you were here a close second. but i do love dsom as ive been listening for it the longest. somethin about playing that album on really late on those summer nights... :ohlawd:

I know its cliche, but the first time I heard this album was with Oz. I was surprised with how much was actually synched up.

The tracks that incorporated jazz were my favorite.
