you need to focus on making good decisions with your food and focus on making your whole body fit in the weight room..

fast metabolism, was skinny 160 pounds at 6'3.

3 years later 220 pounds. no drugs and shyt like that.

heavy weights/lots of quality food/protein.

i was "skinny" and ripped w/ a fast metabolism too. i think some of it depends on your bodytype. are you skinny ripped or skinny fat? if you are skinny fat then you prob don't have as fast as a metabolism as you think, and you just dont eat enough. even if you are skinny and ripped, you still need to be eating more food.

you don't strike me as someone who is burning a lot of calories playin ball, soccer, or running which is keeping them skinny, so you really just don't eat enough and don't know how much more food your body is willing to consume if you were doing things to make it hungry. when you're gaining weight now, its not going to muscle that is begging to grow. it's just extra weight that's gonna go where you don't want it like someone that is :flabbynsick: you are in your prime and need to put that good weight on while your hormones are running wild. it will be harder to grow if you're like 40 and skinny and you will just be that old skinny fat dude.

you need to go to the gym and lift weights and heavy/challenging ones(relative to your strength) your body wants to stay in homeostasis, so you need to actively force it into adapting into a bigger stronger reincarnation. it will adapt to the stimulus you place upon it. just go to the gym and lift heavy and focus on your larger muscle groups and eat like a man and not like a boy. lifting heavy and frequently should up your appetite considerably and you don't need a bunch of supplements and weight gainers, you just have to eat more real food.

don't expect to put on 20lbs in 2months. you will more than likely get fat. this is a more drawn out process, but well worth it. aim to gain a pound a week as a general guideline. if you're not gaining that much then eat more, if you're getting too fat then eat less. make sure your lifts are going up in the gym consistently. this means you're building muscle and that is what we're trying to do.

if you gain 3-5lbs a month for the rest of the year you will have put on 20-30lbs and it will be very noticeable just like when fat ppl slim down. in fact this is often the best and easiest time to go to the gym, because everything works and your body should be changing positively very quickly before your eyes.

i could go on if you have more questions, but thats just some of the basics of how you should be going about it

For breakfast I eat a bagel with cream cheese and a glass of white milk, I ewt snacks throughout the day like nutri grain bars bananas etc.

For lunch usually take out :(

For dinner usually processed food :(


I had stomach issues in the past with a ulcer and a hiatial hernia, which is why I never been the lifter type.

Just from the diet you posted you dont seem to get a lot of protein. You may be covering the calories but with no weight lifting / protein intake you're going to gain fat

so is heavy lifting a no go for you? if so that may be a detriment, but you could still put on some size.

can you do stuff like bodyweight exercises?

ya if you're not eating much protein and arent very active, then most of your weight gain would be fat...

Get yo butt in the gym, fool. :birdman:

Get on the internet and google some foods you can fix for dinner. hell go to Walmart and get you some frozen chicken breasts. Bake them and eat it 2-3 nights a week. Other nights, eat a hamburger in a George Foreman. Other nights, get you a panini maker and make sandwhiches with turkey/ham, etc.

There's alot of stuff you can do to eat better in addition to hitting the gym

ive never had a problem getting females even with my ethiopian weight:win:
