I think reality television has fukked up the minds of some of these females who aren't on that level. No, of course I didn't think my degree would protect me from CACs. I knew full well, especially given my choice of industry, that I'd be surrounded by them. I don't really mind though. My comment was tongue in cheek.
Also, the black kids just seemed really insular. I transferred into my Ivy during the middle of sophomore year, so I ended up becoming friends with the other transfer kids and kids in my business club. Really didn't have any black people in either group or at my college in general
Also, I was a quasi-business major, so all my classes only had Asians and whites. Blacks at my school were very skeptical of business for the most part and were on the pre-med or creative track so I didn't have much interaction with them. I went on a date with a black girl from my school, but she wasn't interested in pursuing anything else with me--partly I'm sure because she was damn near half a foot taller than me!
