OP, don't listen to these bytch ass nikkas telling you to ignore it.

Stand up for yourself in a calm, professional manner.
No ignoring her is even better than comforting her shows her that she anything she says means absolutely nothing to you which is the best Ether

Have an uncomfortable talk with her in front of trusted witnesses. Tell her you don't treat work as a socialization experiment and would appreciate her respecting your boundaries.

...THEN smile...no smirk:mjgrin:

No don't do that. That's the petty Patty in me.

But I digress, just let her know you care more about work than pleasing others and you appreciate a professional work environment. People are so irritating with that nonsense. How you gon tell somebody else to do something to make YOU feel good?

If you don't smile, then what? Nobody is required to smile if they don't want to. It makes me wanna have you smile with everybody else except her silly self.
so I had a question since we both share the same amount of pettiness, I currently work a forward facing customer role and I get high reviews and praise. I got let go from one of my old positions for being "rude, mean and have a mean tone of voice" my boss personally told me that "I think that you are better suited for a non-customer facing role" should I send her a snotty email telling her she was wrong or keep it moving, it could potentially backfire in the future which is why I'm hesitant.
