Credit where credit is due. He woke those fans up last night, like a top guy is supposed to do.
They were determined to boo him and ten minutes later, they were screaming at the top of their lungs for him and wide awake.
He woke them out of their slumber and got them into the show, a feat that went down the drain when Vince and Reigns killed it with the Sheamus vs Roman announcement.
The harsh reality is that there is no one on this roster that can control a crowd like he can besides Paul Heyman and maybe Kevin Owens.
The successor they want to succeed John couldn't hold his jock strap back in 2004 when he was Vanilla Ice, much less 2015, and somehow managed to generate apathy in a segment with Vince McMahon until the boss was "arrested."
Could have also heard a pin drop to end RAW after Vince made his groundbreaking announcement.
The problem with Cena is not the fact he was on top, it was how long he was on top.
End of the day -- and some may not realize it yet -- but yall are going to miss John when he's gone.
