In upstate nikkas defense most of them are from NYC.Nah b he don’t even dress like a nikka from Harlem.. dude is def from upstate in Buffalo or Rochester
reading too much into it.
Ya'll in here talking about some damn food and music focused on irrelevant, shyt basing things on the current state of hip hop, FOH......NYC is the global financial capital.
Thats our ultimate bragging right. If u aint speaking on that u aint saying nothing.

Those who are employed in these financial institutions are monolithic overwhelmingly white males which is not a representative of the city's demographics. The only visible small minority in any Wall Street banking institution is Asians.
Wall Street an elusive dream for black Americans - NBC News
These are the same people who are driving up living costs while the overwhelming majority rest of the city stays living and stressing about the rise of living cost combined with stagnant wages. It's a nice title to have as a global financial hub but how does the majority of the rest of the city's population benefit from this title especially Black people in the city.
Thats the beauty of not thinking tribal. As an individual I can seperate myself from any group you might wanna put me in and speak for myself. Now I cant speak for "the rest of the citys population" I can only speak for myself and I'm doing quite well. I'm the same person who said right here on this site...instead of complaining about gas prices going up, get a better job so that wont be an issue.
Regardless of thinking tribal or not, one of the reasons or arguments put forth as the reason why NYC has lost some of its "soul' is because of vast changing neighborhoods and minorities being priced out of the neighborhoods they grew up in regardless of educational or professional attainment. So there is a racial/ethnic element to this conversation. If you think that's tribal then it's your opinion and you have the right to have one.
The fundamental problem is not lack of work ethic or not wanting to get a better job instead level of wages unable to rise with the cost of living. Being "well off" should not detach you from seeing the unfairness of the system or be immune to the plight of other hard working people who can't simply make it. How is a working class American supposed to compete with a foreign multi-millionaire parking his/her money in a major city like NYC. This is one of the factors affecting cost of either renting or owning in major cities throughout the world not just NYC (London, Vancouver specifically) Is getting a better job the answer?
Even as a "well off" person, you should be concerned because these types of things can cause social upheaval where people have had enough or pushed to the brink. Caring about the plight of other working class people is not philanthropy, charity or sentimental but also can also benefit in terms of preventing social chaos.
I aint look at NY the same since
LOL....U really want me to think tribal...and I wont. Is the system unfair? Yes...But thats life and life is cut throat. I have my own issues and here u are telling me I need to be worried about someone else sustaining a living here. U actually said that to me and thats exactly why I dont think tribal. I mean why stop there? There was a thread heavy yesterday were a bunch of no getting p*ssy posters were talking about the lack of getting p*ssy.....So according to you I should focus on them while lifting my wifes leg up at 3 am.
